On the 13th of March, 2025, Brainiac Stars College students embarked on an enlightening excursion to historic landmarks in Nigeria. Their first stop was the iconic first Storey building in Nigeria, located in Badagry, Lagos. This 1845 structure, built by Reverend Samuel Ajayi Crowther, showcased the country’s rich architectural heritage.
Next, the students visited the Slave Relics Museum, Badagry Heritage museum and The slave market, all in Badagry. The museums housed a poignant collection of artifacts and relics from the transatlantic slave trade era. The excursion provided a unique opportunity for the students to connect with Nigeria’s past, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the nation’s history and cultural significance.
